Yael Stone
Stone was born in Sydney and was raised in Sydney. She studied at her school, the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NIDA) and in the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone began acting as a child, with roles in films such as Me Myself I and the mini-series The Farm. She primarily focused on theatre. Stone was awarded the award for Best Newcomer at Sydney Theatre Awards 2008 and Best Supporting actor for The Kid. Also, she appeared on television as a supporting actress in All Saints as well as Spirited. In 2010, she appeared in The Diary of a Madman. It earned her a second nomination at the Sydney Theatre Awards as Best Supporting actor. In February 2011 she traveled to New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production The Diary of a Madman, before returning to the lead roles of A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, as well as As You Like It in Sydney.
