Marg Helgenberger, an American actress who rose to the limelight for her performance as Siobhan Ryan on the TV show "Ryan's hope". Her path from a rural village girl Hollywood was extremely impressive. At the beginning she was not aspired of becoming an actress. In her early years she was not aspired of becoming an actress. It was her desire to emulate the mother's footsteps and pursue a profession in nursing. Her interest in acting grew while visiting colleges and deciding the degree she'd like to follow. Her name was picked up by a talent-scout while performing in a play at college. The scout advised her to consider pursuing a career in the industry. In the following year, after starring in "Ryan's Love', she bagged "China Beach," among others notable television and film parts, which established her place as an actress. The film "Erin's Brockovich', Marg was a chemical-exposure victim. This character was greatly loved. Marg has a busy schedule however she manages to make some time to do charity work. Each year, she organizes an annual golf tournament for famous people to collect funds for breast cancer research. Marg's mother was a breast cancer survivor who battled cancer for 27 years.
